The acquisition of many independent broker dealers by insurance companies or other institutional size companies has taken away much of the independence their Representatives once had.  As a result of these acquisitions, there are few remaining truly independent broker dealers, and most of those are too small to provide high caliber professionals with the supervisory support they must have to protect themselves in today’s regulatory environment as well as the value added that they deserve.  As a privately owned company, Centaurus has established a unique niche among independent broker dealers.  It is large enough to provide this support and small enough (by design) to have the flexibility and accessibility (from senior management on down) to allow and assist Representatives to run their practice as they desire (within the regulatory and “best practices” guidelines).

Consistent with the traditional philosophy of the truly independent broker dealer, Centaurus only makes money when its Representatives make money.  Therefore, we charge no administrative or technology fees, it being our belief that you should only pay for those resources that you choose to utilize.

This philosophy is also reflected by the fact that we have developed a compliance department dedicated to helping you increase your business, while protecting you in this heightened  regulatory environment.  Our Representatives will attest to the fact that we are committed to maintaining that balance. 

Finally, we have no preferred products.  All quality products and resources, whether they be mutual funds, alternative investments, annuities (variable fixed and indexed), life insurance, or third party money managers will be made available to you, upon request, if not already on our approved list.
