Centaurus Financial, Inc.’s 17th Annual Sponsor Appreciation Golf Tournament was held Dec. 2 at Yorba Linda Country Club in Yorba Linda, California. The event is the independent broker/dealer’s thank you to its sponsors and other participants for their help each year. Centaurus invites a local charity, which becomes the beneficiary of funds raised at the event.
This year, more than $45,000 was raised for Shamrock Rescue Foundation, an Orange County, California-based nonprofit that helps animals in need.

“All I can say is, God must love animals,” Centaurus CEO and Shamrock founder Ron King said in kicking off the daylong event. The days before and after the tournament were filled with rain, unusual in Southern California, but golf day was bright and perfect for play. Centaurus Financial hosts the annual event to thank its hard-working partners and selects a charity to be its honored guest. In addition to the tournament, the day included a putting contest, live and silent auctions, and dinner.

Shamrock Rescue Foundation is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization that saves animals who are in danger of being put to death in public shelters.
